Thanks for visiting the County Town of Dorset's website.  The Visit Dorchester - Visitor Guide 2008 is now available on-line, which you can view and print free from this website.  The Visitor Guide details the most popular attractions Dorchester has to offer, with maps and pictures of this great and historic County town.  The electronic guide can be downloaded by clicking the following image - which will take you to the pdf version of the guide.  From December 2007 the Visitor Guide will also be available from selected outlets.  So please re-visit us again very soon to see how and where you can pick up a printed guide.

The Town Pump is a central point in Dorchester - located next to Dorchester's Corn Exchange and the impressive clock tower, you will find an information board, outlining four popular historic walks around the town.  You can get a flavour of these by clicking on one of the walks in the Discover Dorchester section - there you can take an Interactive Walk, to find out a little more about what each of these walks entail.  When you Visit Dorchester.  When you arrive in Dorchester, you may wish to visit the tourist information centre, where you will be able to pick up some leaflets, including the Discover Dorchester walks, as well as a printed version of the Visit Dorchester Visitor Guide 2008.
